Lovely Ladies Part Two

Hi Smithies!
Today's post is a continuation of my Belinda's Beauties projects.  I made two more cards from the samples  in my previous post.  I went all pink and girly with my cards!  Ohh.  I just can't get out of my girly girl mood.
Here are the samples I made (in case you forgot what they looked like).

And, here are the cards.

More info on my blog, Dreaming and Creating!  Hope you have enjoyed  the uber girlyness here with The Stampsmith.
Have a great day!!

Belinda's Beauties in Blue

Hi Smithies,
I have been experimenting with cardstock and ink colors.  I used the stamp set Belinda's Friends.  Here are some of the results

Today's card is made with the bottom left sample.  I will share all the others with you over the next week or so.   Here is how the Blue Beauty turned out.

For a list of ink and card stock colors, hop on over to my blog, Dreaming and Creating.  Hope you have a great weekend.

Grace and Poise

Hello
Won't You Be My Honey is one of those plates that I am sure gets overlooked, with interest focused on the Flappers or stamps such as Serena and Ophelia. It is well worth a browse of The Stampsmith store to view the wide range of stamps available. This is really a beautiful stamp and is actually the first time I have worked with it, altering a canvas (further details at my Blog, Adorn).
Remember that the Flip 'n' Fold challenge is underway over at The Stampsmith Challenge Blog.

The Sweetest Face

For March, The Stampsmith Challenge has set the challenge of Flip 'n' Fold.
I selected this sweet stamp from Thank Heaven For Little Girls #2, a really delightful plate of stamps that suits many occasions, even Christmas. I also used the double postal cancellation marks from the Paris plate and inside (see my Blog) a beautiful quote.
We look forward to seeing your Flip 'n' Fold artwork. As always there is a Prize Draw so it is well worth entering your artwork. Please do remember to include at least one Stampsmith stamp.

TSC28: Flip 'n' Fold Challenge

We thought we'd try something different over at The Stampsmith Challenge this month, so we're challenging you to Flip 'n' Fold to create a project of your choice. Use at least one stamp by The Stampsmith and get your name into the draw for a free sheet of rubber from Estelle!

For my project, I decided to create a Corner Bookmark using the Beautiful, Ophelia by The Stampsmith. Ophelia comes in lots of different sizes, that you can find here. I used the mini size, which measures 1 1/4 in. wide x 1 3/4 in. You can find a great little tutorial by Beate on SCS to show you the folds and measurements. Once you have your main bookmark base ready, you can embellish it as you like. I used a fleur-de-lis border punch on the bottom, above it I used part of a Spellbinders Piercerabilities to do the piercing and I free handed the piercing along the top of the ivory layer of the bookmark. Used another scalloped border for underneath the patterned paper and finished it off with some grosgrain ribbon.

Below, is the outside cover of the above book. I like the picture on the cover and thought it went well with my bookmark for a photo. Unfortunately, my French is pretty rusty, so I have no idea what the book is about. I just hope the words on the pages above are nothing I should be embarrassed about! lol :)

I hope you decide to play along in the fun. Please pop on over to The Stampsmith Challenge blog to see what fun folds the other gals on the Design Team came up with.

Thanks for stoppin' by! :)
