White On White Tag

Last day to play in the November challenge, Monochromatic White over at The Stampsmith Challenge Blog! This is a tag I made for Julie, my fellow Stampsmith Design Team crafter. We had a Holiday Swap. I like making tags for Christmas, as they can be used as ornaments too.
This lovely stamp is called Holly Christmas and is available at The Stampsmith Shop for only $6.00!
Have a wonderful weekend, and hope you are getting your crafty gifts, cards done!

A Time For Giving

Hello
As I am in the middle of Christmas preparations including gift making I have also found myself finding ways of presenting those gifts.
Using the Christmas Greetings stamp plate I selected a sentiment to stamp directly onto this calico bag.

The bag was then dressed up with lace, pearl beads and a shabby bow.
What is tucked inside? I will share with you in another post the handmade gift that is inside which is now on its way to an art friend.
You do still have time to enter the November Challenge, White on White.  We welcome all manner of art but please include at least one Stampsmith stamp on your entry. All rules and prize details available at TSC, see sidebar for link.

White Winter Wishes

Squeezing this post in before The Stampsmith Monochromatic White Challenge is over. There is still time!
One of my favourite stamps from the Thank Heaven For Little Girls #1 stamp sheet. Loved making this with all the embossing and die cuts. Couldn't leave it just white. Had to add a touch of vintage!
Hope you will join us over at The Stampsmith Challenge! You could win some rubber! More photos on my blog, Scraps From A Broad.
  Have a great week!

Glamorous Christmas Card with "Bling"

Hi Smithies,
Think you need traditional Christmas stamps to make a nice Christmas card??!!  Well, think again.  The Stampsmith's photo stamps are great for Christmas cards.  The photo images give such a warm old timey feel to Christmas cards.  I went a bit glam with my Christmas card and used the single stamp "Bling".  Not a Christmas stamp in sight.  LOL

The sentiment and trees are stickers that I had in my stash.  I will be showing you  Christmas ideas using your Stampsmith Stamps over the next few weeks.  Pop by and say hi ---on my blog, Dreaming and Creating.  Have a great day!

Teal Christmas Wishes

I'm sharing a Christmas card with you today using the beautiful Holly Christmas photostamp by The Stampsmith.  I opted to use teal, a non-traditional Christmas colour, even using it on my poinsettias, just for fun.

I sponged on black soot distress ink to highlight the embossed pieces.  I think it adds elegance to the project and I finished off the poinsettias with a little pearl embellie for the flower centers.

Thanks for stoppin' by! :)

Hark the Sweetest Angels Sing

HI Smithies,
I have a sweet Christmas card to share today.  The card is made with a stamp from the Thank Heaven for Little Girls full sheet.  This image is just super nice for Vintage Christmas Cards.  Check out my card.

I stamped the photo stamp with black dye ink on glossy white CS.  Doesn't this make a great Christmas card?!   I just love this and will be using it for several more Christmas cards that I will send out.   For more info, click over to my Blog, Dreaming and Creating.   Hope you have a lovely day.

Butterflies and The Kiss

For my card, I used a stunningly romantic stamp by The Stampsmith.  This photostamp is sold as a single and is called The Kiss.   I love using this stamp for special cards, this moment between the couple gives you a glimpse of their special day that I think so many can relate to.

For more details, feel free to check out my blog.

Thanks for stopppin' by! :)

White on white...and a bit of vintage!

Good morning! This is my white on white card. This was hard for me as I don't usually do a white card or even a white card base, but once I got my embossing folders out and Distress Ink Vintage Photo, I really started loving it!

This sweet image is from the Thank Heaven for Little Girls #1:

Hope to see your white on white creation on The Stampsmith Challenge Blog! There is rubber to be won! You must use at least one Stampsmith stamp to be eligible.

Get Inky!

White Challenge Project

Good evening crafters, I just wanted to post a challenge project for The Stampsmith Challenge blog. This months challenge is White on White. My mojo has been none existent these last few weeks so I am forcing myself to come up with a little tag for this months project.

Here is a peek at what I created:

I used my Butterfly Kiss Large Art Rubber Stamp for the image. I stamped it with Black Versa Fine ink on Simply Smooth Bazzil card stock. For more details on my project, drop over to my Blog http://melscraftyspace.wordpress.com/2012/11/06/white-on-white-stampsmith-challenge/

Thanks for peeking in!

White on White Christmas Dreams

Hi Smithies,
The November Challenge is up and running.  This month, we are challenging you to make a project that is White on White with at least one Stampsmith stamp.  For my Design Team card, I used the Christmas Angels stamp...which is totally adorable!    I, of course, used all white papers, cardstock, and ribbon.  Here are my sweet little angels.

For more info and pics, check out the full post on my blog, Dreaming and Creating here.  Hope you are having a lovely weekend!

Monochromatic Whites Challenge

It's challenge time again over at The Stampsmith Challenge and this time around we're challenging you to create something with 'Monochromatic Whites' in mind.  For my card, I used this sweet little girl from the Thank Heaven for Little Girls #1 stamp sheet by The Stampsmith.

For the background, I brewed a pot of tea and used it to dye a coffee filter.  After I soaked it, I crumpled it up as best I could to give it an aged look and then used my heat tool to dry it out.  I then paired it with some pretty lace, a doily and a Prima flower to finish it off.

I hope you decide to play along in the fun for a chance to win a free stamp sheet from The Stampsmith!  I look forward to seeing all your creations!

Thanks for stoppin' by! :)
